GINI stands for Global Integrated Network of IEEE which was renamed to Student Networks of IEEE. The motto behind GINI is simple to enhance and encourage communication between student branches of a section initially, spreading this to the country and finally IEEE Region. This is achieved by bringing student branches to work together, by promoting effective inter-communication between student branches, which will lead to increase in the IEEE activities, reactivation of sick student branches, formation of new branches, effective transfer of responsibilities among branch officers and making the IEEE membership more valuable to the student members. Hub leaders are the interface between the SB and the section SAC. A GINI coordinator in a SB will be the point of contact for a hub leader.

GINI Bangalore has laid out the following objectives:

Organize technical tutorials, workshops and talks for members of Bangalore section GINI members.

Build relationships through increased collaboration with the industry and academia.

Collaborate on various engineering and research projects.

Ensure frequent interactions with other student branches in the Bangalore section.

Organise fests, talks and workshops to ensure that a constant learning takes place, both professionally and academically.

IEEE SJCE, one of the prominent student chapters in the state of Karnataka has been and will continue to play a pivotal role in fulfilling the objectives laid out by the GINI, which includes collaborations with neighbouring institutes for resource sharing and information interchange. Conducting miniature events at other member branches on par with those conducted at SJCE top the priority list thereby demonstrating IEEE SJCE's support towards excellence at the other member branches.
