Talk on CMOS

IEEE SJCE is organising a special talk on Material and Device Challenges for Future CMOS Technologies. The speaker Cor Claeys is Professor at the KU Leuven, Belgium since 1990. The talk focuses on minimum device geometry, performance enhancement, cost issues and low power consumption of CMOS devices.

Advances in Electronic Device Material

IEEE SJCE organised a special talk on ADVANCES IN ELECTRONIC DEVICE MATERIAL on 05th January 2018. The speaker, Dr. Deji Akinwande, Endowed Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer engineering from University of Texas-Austin, USA addressed the gathering about the latest research advances on 2D nano-materials towards greater scientific understanding and advanced engineering applicatons.

Best Student Branch Website

IEEE - SJCE student branch has won best student branch website award for the third consecutive year under IEEE Bangalore section. The award was presented at the Annual General Meeting of IEEE Bangalore section held on 7th January 2018 at Shangri-La Hotel Bangalore.


IEEE SJCE is conducting robotics workshop in which students learn the basics of robotics and build their own bots from the scratch using different techniques in this 5 day workshop.

Women Empowerment Talk

Tech talk by Anita Borg institute. A tech talk by Shruti Karmarkar from ABI, mainly focussing on advancing women in technology. All girl students pursuing their second year of engineering or above, can attend this talk on leading technologies like Load Balancer, Firewall and Nexus.

Snap Circuits

In Snap circuits workshop the students have hands-on session of basic electrical and electronics circuits. The students are allowed to explore different circuits under the supervision of volunteers.
